its been...lets see...3 days and i'm still right ear deaf...dunno wat happen la...one morning i woke up to find tat i cant really hear properly with my rite ear...at first i thought it was some pressure in my ear...then i tried yawning...then i yawn here yawn there...jump here jump there...dig my ear here and there still cannot...so now im lyk blogging with one ear deaf...haix...hopefully its not some kinda big problem...my mum told me to go see doc..but then i dun want...=S do pray for me ya?? feel weird only being able to hear from my left...
today went for youth...was asked to play the guitar so i agreed...only had lyk less than 5 min to look thru the songs and practice...screwed up a little in the beginning but then it got better as it went by...then after youth, went up for service...couldnt hear myself sing la..stupid ear of mine...RARR!!! despite my ear probs...i soon forgot abt it when the sermon started...the msg was entitled
Joy: The Mark Of A Christianwhen i saw the title...i started to look back at my life...trying to see the difference btw the "then" me and the "now" me. indeed the "now" me is a lot happier...wonder if tats why i smile 24/7!! hahas...well..let me try to sum up wat the speaker said la...
Happiness is not joy
Happiness is shallow, dictated by circumstances
Joy is deep, not dictated by circumstances (hmm..wasnt paying attention to the sermon for this part..hehe)
Worry causes us to shirt out focus away from God.
Instead of setting our gaze on God, we fix our eyes on the circumstances.
God becomes the furthest thing away from us.
Don't wait for our faith to be tested before we search and seek the Lord.
Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow
It empties today of its strengthremember..God is our anchor in times of trials, so that we can walk through life's darkess valleys with joy!! =DD
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace that transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
