watching mosquitoman rite now...its a damn weird show la...i think all shows tat end with a "man" sounds weird and IS weird...maybe except for superman and spiderman coz they are more famous...so many "man" shows...why no show called "woman"? hahas...anyway...today i tot wat shuyi said was kidna funny. XD
shuyi: wah...that china boy ah...his head no hair then hit my cheekbone la...super pain leh!!
nat: *laughs* so hair provides some kind of cushion or sth?? hahas...i dun think having hair makes a difference. =P
okok...as the director of NAT'S GREAT ADVENTURES: CHINA SPECIAL...i've decided to chiong all the way man...so...today's ur lucky day coz im gonna wrap up my china adventure!! =D
Day 5, 2 June: today there wasn't any sch for the students not because it was their Childrens' Day...but some of them had to attend some competition elsewhere so the principal decided to close the sch...so all of us, kunsters(i've decided to call all of us kunsters coz the place we were at was called KUNming), were practically alone in the sch except for one of the student who lives there...her name was yang yang...by now all of us were good frens with her...she even taught me how to play the string game...quite fun...hahas..next time teach all of u!=D anyway...today was gonna be our last day in the sch...the painting was nearly done...jux needed a lil touching up...the rest of us went to all the classrooms to clean up...fix some furnitures...after all our final "chores", we spent some time talking to yang yang and played with her...took some pics of her...next time i post then show u all the pics...then we had lunch in the sch...i think it was the nicest and most delicious lunch i've ever tasted upon arriving in China. and guess who cooked it??? nope its not the sch cook...its.....THE....PRINCIPAL~~~~!!!wah...i think thruout the whole service learning...the prinicipal too nice to us le...i didnt really feel tired or exhausted...i think the other service learning trips did more than us...oh well...shant complain too much la..tsk tsk...then we left the sch...it was kinda sad coz we didnt really say goodbye to the students in the sch except for Yang Yang.went back to the same hotel...we were told that we were given the BEST rooms...but...when i entered mine...i think ah..if it was a game of spot the difference i would lose...no diff at all lor...but i couldnt care abt that at that time...i was more focused on the toilet...after holding my "bomb" for 4 days...i rushed to the toilet...had some difficulty...it couldnt come out...so i kinda gave up...switched rooms with the lao shis and then i went to give it one more go!! lol...and this time it worked!! i was practically meditating in the toilet...relaxing myself...counting from 1 onwards...it works ok?? so for those who cant shit...try my method! =D after tat we met up again to shop!! went to some sports shopping centre...then we tot everything cheap cheap de...end up everything same price...felt so cheated...but i saw this brand called QQ with a penguin picture at the side...quite cute rite if u imagine it!! hahas..i tot the shoe design was nice...quite cool...but the brand spoils it...its lyk...wah..the shoe so cool so hip but then the brand got one smiling penguin...lol...after that we returned to the hotel and went to zZzZ...
Day 6, 3 June: woohoo~~~ today whole day shopping!! quite happy rite?? i noe all those gals who r reading muz be drooling now...hahas...make sure u get a pail ready leh...later ppl walk past then slip and fall!XP we had to walk quite far to the shopping area...actually i felt as if we went around a big area shopping...not lyk we were shopping in a particular place...went to macs first...coz it was lyk the first macs we saw in china...and the price is lyk super cheap la!! one meal for lyk S$3 plus? then i saw the happy meal toy quite cute...it was a bear with a letter from the alphabet...wanted to buy for kim's bday since she lyks bears...but then dun have K I & M...so i nvr buy...my grp sat down and i looked up and spotted one full collection of the alphabet bears and i wanted to steal it...LOL...but got one policeman in macs patrolling. i mean..where got policeman station himself in macs de...enjoy air con ah??hahas..then we walked again..to somewhere further down/up/left/rite(i lost all sense of orientation)...then i noticed a really big church...its was a really peaceful sight. the church, located way inside all of the buildings...the sunlight shining on it...it felt lyk in one of the movies...i was "WOW!!"..then my grp entered ENEMY TERRITORY!! basically we jux entered this chinatown looking place and it was kinda "dangerous" coz everyone looked suspiscious...so my group called this mission OPERATION BUY-UR-STUFF-AND-GET-OUT-OF-HERE-WITHOUT-GETTING-ROBBED and we came up with a strategy...it was called
BARRICADE FORMATION!! 2 guys in the rear 2 guys in front all the gals in the centre.it really worked man!! then i bot alot of stuff...and i muz really thank my teacher LIU LAO SHI!! she is damn pro la!! Master Bargainer!! let me teach all of u the art of bargaining.
step 1) ask how much it is
step 2) GAO SHEN ME FEI JI MA(what the aeroplane) METHOD: basically u say sth lyk "wat?? but the other shop down the road sells it at $##" or "wat the...this? for $##?? u've gotta be kidding me"
step 3) state ur price: say sth lyk "OK!$2 then we're gone" dun give a chance for price negotiation...
step 4) walk off: if all else fails...jux walk off...coz most probably they will call u back...
after a whole day of being soldiers...we returned back to the hotel tired...so we had a longer slping time...woke up later
Day 7, 4 June: LAST DAY!!! we packed our bags and we were off to the airport...on our way we went to some really big tourist attraction where they sell coffee products and flower and fruits. first up was the coffee factory...there was a tourguide who was there with us but i totally didnt catch wat he was saying coz his chinese was of higher lvl than me...so i jux went ahead...the coffee factory was huge!! and it was lyk a maze in there...going in a zigzag lyk motion...next up was the flowers and fruits section...i saw this interesting egg-lyk thing which could grow jux by adding water on it...it was 3 for 10RMB...so i bot it..then i walked further down and i saw the same thing...but this time at 5 for 10 RMB...wah lau..i felt so cheated la can??after tat we chionged to the airport...got onto the plane and bid farewell to CHINA!!=D upon arriving in singapore, we noticed this really pretty air stewardess...then we asked her to take a photo with us...but in the end we didnt..=(( but we wrote her a note in one of those comment slip...it goes lyk this "i think you are very pretty and u shld join a beauty pageant. thx for serving us! from, a bunch of singaporean kids"
